Our Goal:
The Spotted Dog was started to provide those products and necessities pet owners need and want, but can't find anywhere else! When it comes to dog and cat food, we only carry the best. Our brands are all natural, healthy, and a better alternative to most brands of pet food on the market today. Our treats are baked fresh daily, and we strive on carrying only the healthiest and safest products out there! Our goal is to provide pet owners today with the products they need to keep their pets happy and healthy!
Our Story:
My name is Ashley Dickerson, and along with my mother, Sandy Dickerson, we came up with the idea to create a different place in Pensacola, Florida for pets and their people. The Spotted Dog was inspired by the one-and-only "Bunny" (along with our other beloved pets, of course!). Bunny has been the happiest, sweetest, most personable dog I have ever known, and every person she has met will most definitley agree. I have always wanted to give her nothing but the best, because she does the same in return. When she started to develop health problems, such as allergies and weight gain, I started doing some research on what I could do, or change, to help. Come to find out, one of the most important things that most people often over-look is what we are feeding our pets. An all natural, healthy, and wholesome diet has improved Bunny's problems dramaticly. She feels better, she looks better, and at 10 years old she is going stronger than ever!
Events and Community:
Join us for our monthly "Yappy Hour" every last Thursday of the Month! (some holidays excluded). It's a fun and energetic get together at The Spotted Dog where you and your dog can socialize over some tasty wine samples and snacks, and particiapte in our monthly activity or guest speacker! And it's FREE! Come check it out this month, May30th, at 6 p.m.!
We also participate in Gallery Nights and special events in downtown Pensacola, and soon you'll find us selling our very own bakery treats at the Palafox Market!
A Helping Hand:
We believe sole-heartedly in adoption, and are very passionate about supporting our local resuce and adoption groups. We make monthly donations and encourage our customers to adopt their new family members! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help a pet or friend in need, as well as any resuce or adoption agency!
